Single Brackets

If you’re going to hang one layer of curtains, single curtain rod brackets are the standard. Single rod brackets are sold in a set and sturdy enough to hold most curtain materials.

Double Brackets

Double curtain rod brackets let you hang two layers of curtains. Layered curtains can serve many purposes, including adding dimension to your window and giving your curtains a more formal designer look.

You can also pair a decorative curtain panel with a sheer or blackout panel to control the amount of light you want to keep out or let in.

To hang your layered curtains, try no-drill double Curtain bracket. The inner cup size is compatible with 5/8″ width rods, while the outer cup can fit either a 5/8″ or 1” width rod.

Center Support Brackets

If your curtains cover a lengthy window span, you’ll need a functional support bracket to hold the rod up and prevent it from bowing.

Most rods require support brackets every 30-36 inches. If your window is longer than 60 inches across, you’ll need two center support brackets.

You can get single or double center support brackets depending if you’re hanging one or two layers of curtains.
